"Little did I realize when I joined Temple Beth-el almost 50 years ago, how our families would become intertwined. Not only did you become our spiritual leader, but you and Tamar became close friends as well..."

Gloria Weiser

Little did I realize when I joined Temple Beth-el almost 50 years ago, how our families would become intertwined. Not only did you become our spiritual leader, but you and Tamar became close friends as well.

The Bar and Bat Mitzvahs of all of my children became personal events because of this closeness and my husband, Dr. Arthur Glickson, became very active on the Board of the Temple. We had a personal and spiritual commitment.

When a personal tragedy struck our family, you were always available and came to the hospital at any hour of the day or night to help us through this crisis.

On a happier note, you, our Rabbi, has officiated at all of my four children's weddings and many guests have commented on the rapport between you and the bride and groom. This, in itself, made the ceremonies more personal and meaningful.

There are many sad as well as happy occasions that I could write about in this short note, but suffice it so say that my relationship with you and Tamar will always be a close and tender one.

Rabbi, I want to thank you for always being there when I need you and I wish you continued good health, happiness, and many more years to enjoy all of life's wonderful happenings.
