"I was so proud to read that speech on the day of my Bar Mitzvah, knowing that Rabbi Weissberg had put so much effort into it..."

Paul Templer

A funny story that I often think about took place about a month before my Bar Mitzvah. Rabbi Weissberg reminded me that I would have to write a speech to give on the day of my Bar Mitzvah. I spent days trying to prepare the best speech I could and when I was done I think it was only two paragraphs long, and not very well written. I let Rabbi Weissberg review it and he offered to edit it for me. When he was finished, it was as if a professional author had rewritten the whole speech. Tying current events into my special day, thanking my family and telling a humorous story. It was great. Perfect. And completely different than my original, not so great speech! To this day, I could not write a better speech myself! I was so proud to read that speech on the day of my Bar Mitzvah, knowing that Rabbi Weissberg had put so much effort into it.
