"When I think about Rabbi what comes to mind is how many times he has responded when called upon..."
Marcia, David, Dana and Barry Kanarek

When I think about Rabbi what comes to mind is how many times he has responded when called upon. When I called him that Rachel was in the hospital, he came. When my Mom called him, she needed counseling, he came. When my great aunts died, he came and did the funerals. Even letting Barry play the clarinet at the graveside service Rabbi officiated at for my Aunt Ellen so many years ago, had an impact I won't forget.

Giving Barry and Dave the opportunity to view and enjoy his coin collection with him was a delight. He and your Mom even went to visit my Dad in the hospital following Rabbi's colonoscopy test that day at the hospital. What a guy!!
When my friend Ann Diamond was so sick I asked her how she was able to manage just day to day. She went through so much and it seemed so unfair. She told me that Rabbi would come over and they would just talk. To her it was very personal, to me it was a blessing that he provided for a friend. I know he helped Ann in many ways with his visits. I guess the bottom line is when you need Rabbi he is there.
