"The Rabbi then stayed at our home, helped with dinner and took care of  anything else we needed  until a relative was able to come and stay with us. Thanks so much for caring..."

Marsha Franklin Kamm

You and Tamar have always been a source of strength and inspiration and have shared in good and some trying times with our family. Beginning with religious school, confirmation, fun times in Oconomowoc with Hi-Club and our marriage in 1978 at Temple Beth-el on Touhy, to sitting with our family at Children’s Memorial Hospital for many hours for Rachel’s or as you have nicknamed her, Sarah’s surgery. You always thought she looked more like a Sarah than a Rachel. We remember that you dropped Tamar off at the airport for a trip to Israel and upon receiving a call, came straight to the hospital. You brought hope and offered comfort along with your sense of humor about our dad’s not so kosher eating habits and sat with us into the middle of the night until you knew that everything was ok.

Both you and Tamar have always played an important role with Rachel and Danny during their religious school, Bar and Bat Mitzvah and confirmation years. Officiating at Rachel’s Bat Mitzvah, participating in Danny’s Bar Mitzvah and celebrating the occasions with our family are times that we will always cherish.

We consider ourselves and our family very fortunate to have been a part of your many years of service at Temple Beth-el. We know how lucky we are to have you and your family as our dear friends.

We want to take this opportunity to wish you many more happy and healthy birthdays and may we continue to celebrate happy occasions together with you and your family.
