How can I relate just one or two heartfelt memories on how you touched my life? You and Tamar are an integral part of my life -- I consider you part of my family.

You’ve been with me and my daughters through all my years with Reg (42 years). We’ve celebrated weddings and Bat Mitzvahs and all my special "surprise" birthdays -- since Reg loved to throw all these fun parties on my 40th, 50th, 60th...At each of these you would "roast me" and I still consider you my friend. We also had many parties and fun occasions at our Lincolnwood home. When you and Tamar dressed up in "period" costumes for Presidents’ Day and in green for St. Patrick’s Day and in Holloween costumes where you failed at dunking for apples and pin the tail on the donkey.

Then there were religious occasions -- thousands of them -- and some done with humor like Purim costumes and games and Seders at Temple and your home. There were fun times at Stratford and UAHC conferences we attended together.

So many theater days, symphonies, dinners, dinners and more dinners. I saw our waists get larger and our money diminish.

We witnessed our children and grandchildren and their friendship and how they’ve all grown up to be lovely young men and women.

Yes, there were the said times too. The funerals, many of our families and friends leaving us -- and oh -- the loneliness and grief. And then, Jack entered my life and these years of bringing him "to the table" resulted in his respect and love and gratitude for the enrichment you brought his life and as a result, to mine.

We love you and Tamar.
