"I look forward to your visit, short as it might be, because you have such a generous heart and reach to so many people who want to see you as well at holiday time...It has been a joy to know you, Rabbi, and the entire Weissberg family..."Annette Dickler

We were very fortunate when we joined Temple Beth-el in 1953 to have had the opportunity for our families to grow up together. We have shared many happy occasions and some sad ones as well. However, Rabbi, you and I have had a special bond. My parents, The Richters, often attended services with us, although their Shul affiliation was Orthodox. They enjoyed our service. One Rosh Hashanah, you appeared at their home with a gift of honey. My mother was delighted to share her special strudel as her part of this exchange of gifts. She felt that this was truly "holy honey." When mother passed away in 1968, you and I continued this tradition. Although my cookies and coffee rolls do not hold a candle to mom’s strudel, we have continued to trade my goodies for honey and challah over these many years. I look forward to your visit, short as it might be, because you have such a generous heart and reach to so many people who want to see you as well at holiday time.

It has been a joy to know you, Rabbi, and the entire Weissberg family.
